National General Health Screening Program in Korea: history, current status, and future direction

Health screening is an important component of health promotion programs, and countries have promoted general targeting the prevention early management common chronic diseases. In Korea, a General Screening Program (GHSP) began with workers in 1950s continuously expanded its target population, currently includes adult population.
